In a recent post by director James Gunn, he revealed some early concept art created by Andrew Kim in which shows a more comic-accurate (sans the fin) look of Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy. If this was to be Yondu's look in the film, we could've very well have gotten a decidedly different incarnation of the characters for the film that were more comic faithful. In the concept art, it appears as though instead of a fin, Yondu would've had a mohawk-like hairstyle as well as some pretty native duds.

Check out the concept art below:

I can't blame James Gunn not to have this 'do in the movie. I could imagine that it would probably be also a living hell for Rooker to grow all that hair, too.
