James Gunn Reveals Who Star-Lord's Father Isn't After Sony Scraps THE INTERVIEW

As you more than likely know by now, Sony Pictures announced last night that the release of The Interview has been postponed indefinitely following threats from cyber terrorists (they promised a 9/11 scale attack if the movie hit theatres on Christmas Day, something which prompted most of the US' largest chains to cancel screenings). It's a pretty serious situation, but James Gunn lightened the mood by revealing the following list which now has a certain name checked off due to these events. Of course, Gunn has already revealed that he knows the identity of Star-Lord's father - who we should meet in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - and so it's obviously no else mentioned on the humorous list below. Or is it? Nah! Stay tuned to CBM for more on the highly anticipated sequel.

I don't care if Gunn wants Awe Mix 2 to be only 60s/70s/80s music, put this as track 1!

Ya we know poor little guy just tries so hard to troll any Marvel thread he can. Even the Joker finds him sad.

Why are US chains afraid? No one is going to attack America...and live to talk about it.

Sorry to repeat myself, but...

If "Footloose" is on "Awesome Mix vol.2" Kevin Bacon is Quill's father!!

And at least one Loggins song has to be on the mix, right?!?

I said this already, imagine if Sony went through and released the film and the NK actually went through with their threats...

Now why risk that over a dumb film?

Like Dio said, just put it on VOD or something. Hell, YouTube it.

Titan A.E. was freaking awesome.

But on the other hand, none of those movies are in direct competition with Guardians of the Galaxy...so any comparisons between them are pretty much irrelevant.
