Gamora Becomes A Disney Princess In MARVEL'S GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: MISSION BREAKOUT! Sneak Peek

Check out a new sneak peek of the upcoming multi-part story arc for Disney's Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout!, which sees Gamora teleported to a world inspired by a children's fairytale.

Kicking off this weekend is a new four-part story arc in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! that'll see our heroes step into the Black Vortex and transported to new dimensions. As previously detailed, each of these strange, new worlds will be brought to life using a different animation technique.

One of these worlds will see Gamora wake up in a children's fairytale reminiscent of a classic Disney animated movie — complete with adorable woodland creatures and a catchy working song. A newly released clip ahead of the episode teases what looks to be a hilarious adventure for the adopted daughter of Thanos (which the creatures claim technically makes her a Princess).

"Gamora's worst nightmare is this princess world with singing bunnies and flowers. That's hell for Gamora, which I thought was hilarious," said Gamora voice actress Vanessa Marshall of the upcoming episode.

"The idea for the fairytale setup for Gamora, with the woodland creatures, it played to every stereotype that anyone who is a fan of animation has seen since the 1940s. We really went almost to the extreme with the temperature of the colors that we used. That was very reminiscent of Snow White and Bambi," explained creative director Eric Radomski.

Check it out below.

"They really went full princess mode and they crushed it," added Marshall. "They really did. They crushed it."

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! "Black Vortex" story arc kicks off as a double-header on Sunday, May 5 at 9:30 p.m. EDT on Disney XD.

"Black Vortex, Part One" will see Gamora wake up in the children's fairytale, while Drax is trapped in a comic book. Immediately following, we'll see "Black Vortex, Part Two" featuring Rocket searching for his best friend Groot in a 3D sinister packing factory. Parts Three and Four will conclude the Black Vortex story next weekend on May 12.

Wait, why isnt gamora considered a disney princess? She is royalty after all (daughter of thanos who has an empire), she has the same desire for wanting more thats so popular amongst princesses, you get to tie in the massively popular disney princesses with the mcu. In fact the only issues i can think with this is both live action and the character existing before the movies, two things that also apply to other official princesses and yet that doesnt change anything. I mean leia was originally and most famously from live action movies that have nothing to do with disney yet she's a disney princess.

Good, she deserves it.

I think Nebula should get to be a Disney Princess too, after her heroics in Endgame. She was easily one of the MVPs.

@Disney, you listening?

This looks like better animation than what's seen in the usual episodes (from what I've seen in the TV spots).
