I spent the entire weekend waiting for this information. Last Saturday at the Halo 8 Panel in the San Diego Comic Con, Tim Seeley revealed that actress Brea Grant, known for her roles in Tv shows like Dexter and Heroes, will play Cassie Hack in the Upcoming Illustrated Movie by Halo 8.
She is a fan of the comics and actually cosplayed Cassie last Halloween, sent the pictures to Seeley via Twitter. In her website at http://breagrant.com/blog/, she confirmed the news.
I was hoping that Halo 8 would pick up Allison Scagliotti from SyFy's Warehouse 13 for the role. Specially after all the buzz made by the alissonscag4cassie campaign at Twitter and the interest of the actress herself to play Cassie. It's not the live action movie, so Allison's fans remain hopeful. Meanwhile let's hope that the "illustrated movie" turns out to be something good that brings more readers to Hack/Slash.
