Following yesterday's new extended TV spot, Paramount Pictures has debuted the official theatrical poster for John Krasinski's hotly awaited horror sequel A Quiet Place Part II, which stars Emily Blunt!

After dropping a sweet new trailer yesterday, Paramount Pictures has released the official theatrical poster (and another new international poster) for John Krasinski's A Quiet Place Part II, spotlighting the Abbott family as they attempt to survive the increasingly dangerous alien threat. 

Additionally, as the marketing campaign continues to ramp up, the studio has also announced A Quiet Place-themed Survival Room, which is coming to New York and Los Angeles this March ahead of the launch of the highly anticipated sequel.

WHAT:

A QUIET PLACE PART II Survival Room, brought to you by Paramount Pictures. This multi-sensory experience entails an intense 5-7 minute progression—filled with physical and mental obstacles—for groups of three. This immersive, in-world recreation of A QUIET PLACE PART II tasks guests with keeping their decibel levels down and mitigating any sound in their surroundings…at all costs.

Reservations may be made online at http://www.aquietplace2experience.com/ and walk-ups are also welcome. This event kicks off in New York as part of the Dolby Experience, before opening in Los Angeles in the week leading up to the film’s release. The Dolby SoHo experience in New York will also include a limited time, immersive experience with tons of Instagram-worthy A QUIET PLACE PART II moments, powered by Dolby.

Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe are set to headline the feature, reprising their roles from the previous installment, while Cillian Murphy (Batman Begins) and Djimon Hounsou (Guardians of the Galaxy) join the cast in mysterious new roles. John Krasinski will also appear in the film, albeit in a cameo capacity.

Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

I hate when sequels these days are titled "Part 2" (or Chapter 2).

This and The Last of Us "Part II" in particular. Just feels like they think it'll be taken more seriously or something by using it, rather than anything necessary.

I'm still hyped for both.

@Kurne - It depends on the film. Insidious Chapter 2 and so on made it sound like a book which was cool.
