Erin Gilbert (Wiig) and Abby Yates (McCarthy) are a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. A few years later Gilbert lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia University, but her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia. Gilbert reunites with Yates and others when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.

Ghostbusters hits theaters on July 15.

This looks awful. Worse than Ghostbusters 2 and that was bad. The arrogance of the people behind this movie is stunning. The original cast, writers and director couldn't recapture the magic of the original, but this group thinks they have. ROFL.

FYI- Bill Murray was forced to appear in this movie under threat of lawsuit. F this movie.

at least I was excited for b v s before leaving the theatre pissed off. with this, I want to slap everyone involved prior to seeing it (which I wont).
