IT CHAPTER TWO 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray & Digital HD Release Date & Special Features Revealed

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment announced today that Andy Muschietti's horror blockbuster, It Chapter Two, will arrive on Digital HD on November 19, followed by a 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD debut on December 10, which is just in time for the holiday season.

Unfortunately, there's no mention of that super-extended director's cut Muschietti has been teasing for years, but the lack of any deleted/extended scenes on this initial release would seemingly indicate that WB may still be planning on a bigger release - with both films included - down the line. 

The horror sequel, which grossed over $450 million worldwide, stars Golden Globe-nominee James McAvoy, 2x Academy Award-nominee Jessica Chastain, Primetime Emmy-winner Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone and Andy Bean as the adult versions of the Losers' Club while Jaeden Martell, Sophia Lillis, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Finn Wolfhard, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer and Wyatt Oleff reprise their roles from the previous film as the young Losers.

As for the special features, the combo pack will include an extensive audio commentary from Muschietti as well as a number of interesting featurettes that will take you behind the making of the movie.

Evil resurfaces in Derry as director Andy Muschietti reunites the Losers Club—young and adult—in a return to where it all began with “It Chapter Two.”

The film is Muschietti’s follow-up to 2017’s critically acclaimed and massive worldwide box office hit “IT,” which grossed over $700 million globally. Both redefining and transcending the genre, “IT” became part of the cultural zeitgeist as well as the highest-grossing horror film of all time.

Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, “It Chapter Two” brings the characters—who’ve long since gone their separate ways—back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film.
