Offers Deadline, "Based on the comic, Locke & Key, from 20th TV and writer Josh Friedman, is set in a mysterious New England mansion. This marks the TV debut of Mark Romanek, who started off as a music video director. His feature credits include One Hour Photo and this year's Never Let Me Go."

Locke & Key is being produced by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, who seem to constantly be in the news with TV shows like Hawaii 5-0 and such movies as Star Trek, Mission Impossible 3, Cowboys & Aliens, Transformers 1 and 2, Star Trek 2, etc. So the question is: how can they possibly handle all of these different projects?

In an exclusive interview with CBM, Kurtzman explains, "You know, our company has grown and we are, I think, with a lot of amazing people that we're working with; people we're able to rely on. It's not just the two of us handling everything -- there are a lot of people involved and it's so unfair that they don't get the credit for it, because it's such a team effort. So when we're announced as producing a project, it's basically our company and the people we work with there."

What I've read of this comic I really like. Knowing Fox we'll see two episodes and they'll pull the plug though.
