Michael Ealy Joins Underworld 4

Even though Underworld 4 is already shooting in Vancouver, casting is still going on for the MansMarlind and Bjorn directed film from a script written by J. Michael Straczynski ad John Hlavin. The latest addition is Michael Ealy.

Reports state that Ealy will portray a cop in pursuit of Kate Beckinsale's Selene but ultimately ends up working with her. The character is considered the male lead of the film.

Underworld 4: New Dawn (which is the title IMDB has listed for it) is scheduled for release in January 2012.

Ealy was great in Sleeper Cell and JMS's involvement doesn't' hurt. Maybe it won't suck after all...?

should bring the character michael back, his character was what the first two movies was about and kept the movies from being about "girl power". i enjoyed all underworld movies, much better then twilight and they actually got werewolves right instead of them just being a big dog which is pretty stupid. being this is already shooting i doubt we will see michael the hybrid unfortunately:(

I am looking forward to this... besides comparing this to Twilight is like comparing The Dark Knight to Elektra. One Sucks and One Doesnt.

Why is Scott Speedman not in this movie? I thought it was a sequel and he is one of the main characters. Sucks!

i actually really like this series. Does this mean i have bad taste in movies....i dont think so. I thought the first was better than the second and i thought the third one was better than the second one too so for me its getting better. Scott Speedman still may appear int he fourth film. Perhaps something happens to him in the beginning of the film???? ill be happy to see Beckinsale back tho.
