Iron Man 2 in 1: Should War Machine go solo?

To understand Iron Man is to understand Marvel. Let’s not forget that in the quintessential world of Marvel, it’s Tony Stark who’s the mastermind behind warfare technology. Tony Stark can design a new battle suit armor for each threat he or the world faces. If your wish is Tony Stark’s command you might even get a custom made class “A” Iron Man power suit, if you’re really a close buddy of this Marvel playboy techie.

So on the latest Jon Favreau Iron Man 2 movie hype, it’s no news that Col. “Rhodey” Rhodes played in the upcoming sequel by Don Cheadle, has his own “Stark friendship bliss” in becoming the Iron Man known as War Machine!!! Being tight with Mr. Stark certainly pays off. As the world turns, so does the chaos and drama for each of Marvel’s characters. So what could we expect when we get not one, but two Iron Man in the spotlight buzz? For a start it would be really cool if we see Iron Man and War Machine go hand to hand on bad ass villains like: Crimson Dynamo, Ultimo, Living Laser and the wish list for all; The Mandarin and his goons! But nah, knowing Marvel all those villains are not going to happen. Not official, but maybe, maybe we get to expect The Mandarin or what?

Or maybe we get some “heavy friction in between these metal parts”. As I stated above, Marvel Universe is no different than real soap opera drama world. Pals fight among each other, make peaces, take sides, rinse and repeat again… So maybe tensions among Stark and Rhodes might traduce into when metal bands collide. In the Marvel Universe it’s not the first time these two bring it on, and pick up a brawl . So I’d say yes, as career opportunities uprise between officer Rhodes and entrepreneur Stark, we can expect a no win situation fight in Iron Man 2, but a cool one to watch although. So when duty calls, will Iron Man open up the “war machinery” just to give the world, its new War Machine movie era?
