Iron Man 2 opened very successfully in most international venues last week. One of the biggest fanboy sighs of relief was seeing Mickey Rourke's villainous Whiplash don a full suit by the film's climax. Though it echoed the look of the Iron Monger suit from the first film, it was a good move for the filmmakers to allow the antagonist to wear a bit more protection in his second battle against Iron Man.

MPP - One of my only (slight) letdowns in the film was the battle between Whiplash and Iron Man/War Machine. It was just too short and anti-climactic (thanks Brent). Regardless, I did really like the armor they put Whiplash in and I hope that it's not the last armor-clad villain we see Iron Man face on film.
