New 'Iron Man 2' Image Shows a Suited-Up Justin Hammer

We’ve only seen him in the sides of a handful of promo shots, now get a real glimpse at "Iron Man 2" villain Justin Hammer!

Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer. And see, he's in a suit! Awwww. Did you think I mean't armor? PSYCH!



Though the image doesn't reveal much in the way of new plot details, it appears to be taken from the scene which was previously seen in the leaked "Iron Man 2" footage of Tony Stark in a Senate hearing.

The image comes courtesy of French website Fantasy.fr and was presented alongside some of the previously released images such as the Whiplash Mark II artwork that was released earlier in the week.

i think the reason that he has been made to look so nerdy is because they're going to make him the opposite of Stark - should be an intereting dynamic if thats going to be the case! saying that, he cant be that nerdy if he's the guy who creates War Machine, lol! ;)

Guys, i wish i could take credit for the headline (which i actually thought was prtty funny!) but its all down to the far more creative guys at CBM! I think we can all agree though, love it or hate its much better than "New 'Iron Man' Image Released" which was my original headline, lol! :)

@dellmorte: I don't see the Crimson Dynamo thing man. To me this just seems like IM vs Whiplash with no Crimson Dynamo in it.

I mean are they saying that because Whiplash's whips hav a power source? I just don't get where they CD thing is comicng from in this movie. Maybe it's something they haven't shown yet.

The 1st Crimson Dynamo in the comic is named ANTON Vanko, not Ivan! Whiplash's name in the comics is Mark Scarlotti. He later changed his code name to Blacklash.

Seems like Favreau only made Whiplash Russian in the movie as a way to tie in the Black Widow! Also, he most likely didn't want to repeat the theme from the first film of two guys in armor fighting...kind of irritating, since I would rather have seen I.M. vs. CD and/or the Titanium Man! Iron Monger only appeared in one issue of the comic(#200) and never really made any significant impact! Oh well, here's hoping for the third...
