Iron Man 3 is one of the best CBMs of all time. It is not as good as The Avengers, Iron Man, or The Dark Knight. It is still better than The Dark Knight Rises and Spider-Man 3. Iron Man 3 currently has 78% on Rotten Tomatoes and made over $1.2 Billion at the box office. I'd say that is a huge success for a film. Unfortunately, some nerds refuse to see its greatness. Just like Trekkies with Star Trek Into Darkness. I will now address some issues people had with this film.

1. Too much comedy
Tony Stark was at his most vulnerable. His Malibu mansion had just been destroyed and he was alone for a period of time with nothing. Tony Stark was having panic attacks. It was a very dark CBM. Sure it had some comedy, who doesn't want to have a good laugh?

2. Mandarin portrayal
Ben Kingsley was such a great actor. The 616 Mandarin is a racist incarnation. This character was created during the Cold War; it was a very different time back then. Surely you couldn't think that we'd see the same 616 version. None of you read Ultimate Marvel?

3. Tony Stark blowing up his armors
If you actually saw the film you would have heard Tony Stark saying "I will always be Iron Man." Blowing up his armors doesn't mean that he is no longer Iron Man, unlike Batman in The Dark Knight Rises.
