Bane Fights Bizarro In Cancelled JUSTICE LEAGUE Video Game Footage

Yesterday, we saw Batman versus Superman gameplay footage and some awesome concept art from an unreleased Justice League video game. Today, more gameplay footage has been released. Hit the jump to check it out.

Yesterday, we got our first look at footage from Double Helix's never-released Justice League video game. They developed it in 2010, but never completed it. The footage from yesterday included Batman pummelling the snot out of Superman. Of course, that upset comic book fans greatly because Superman. That's it. I don't need to clarify, right. He's Superman and the other guy is a man in a bat costume.

Today, we have some more gameplay footage. This time, it includes DC villains Bane and Bizarro. Though, I like to think of Bizarro as more of a misunderstood figure and less of a villain. What can I say, I have a soft spot for that ugly mug.

I can see why this game was cancelled, it looks like crap. everything looks crappy...style, gameplay, animations, sound and graphics are all crap. the would have lost a TON of money releasing this turd

Why did people get mad that Batman beat Superman? It's a fighting game. That's like getting mad that Cap can beat Thanos in Marvel vs Capcom. Having some sort of in-story explanation for the characters fighting on even terms can be cool, but is totally unnecessary. I've already decided that the characters' "actual" abilities mean nothing in context of the game.

Not bad.

Yeah it seems a little 'dated' for a 2010 game, but the mechanics look pretty smooth and the animation is decent enough.

That El Mayimbe scoop is really suspect, but I desperately want to see JL Dark, so I'm gonna choose to hold out hope.

Injustice was smart to have a reason why human characters could go toe to toe with the likes of superman

Does anyone else feel like this might have been the original attempt at Injustice. I think this might have been the first stage of Injustice then they scrapped it and improved it to what we have now.

I'm not a big fan of DC but this looks pretty damn sweet. I do wish they'd do a free roam open world fighting game though. Where you play as, and fight different characters in the city while it gets destroyed. Like DCU Online but with AI, and super sonic-near light speed and far more destruction. This would have been a day one buy for me though. My only issue is the level looks kind of empty and unimpressive. But I'm sure it would have been improved upon.

Children of the Atom had better graphics than this 25 years ago. This looks terrible. Fighting games are so clumsy now because they have to have the free floating camera angles to prove it's 3D.
