The future of Ben Affleck's Batman is a fickle one, with Affleck publically going back and forth as to whether or not he is going to continue playing the big screen Dark Knight much longer. This uncertainty has led to many rumors, on of them being that director Matt Reeves could be eying actor Jake Gyllenhaal as a possible replacement.
In the midst of this rumor, Boss Logic has given us a glimpse at what Gyllenhaal could look like as Batman - albeit a Batman sans-cowl. Check it out below.
Rumors began to circulate when Ben Affleck recently commented in an interview with USA Today that his own involvement in the upcoming solo Batman movie is "something I'm contemplating." He further said “You don’t do it forever, so I want to find a graceful and cool way to segue out of it,”
According to Collider's John Campea, Gyllenhaal has met with director Mark Reeves, who is attached to helm a Batman solo film.
Gyllenhaal is no stranger to the superhero movie genre. He was once lined up to replace Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man 2 after he was sidelined by a back injury. He also auditioned for Batman Begins, ultimately losing the Caped Crusader role to Christian Bale.
What do you think, would Jake make a good Batman? Sound off below!
