Justice League: War was fun, exciting and....that's it. Not much of a story other than the formation of the Justice League (which they were never call the Justice League in the entire movie, by the way) and Darkseid is doing bad shit. The voice actors were fine though Alan Tudyk as Superman was not a good choice even though I love Alan Tudyk in pretty much everything he's in. They modified Darksied voice so it doesn't matter who they got, The Flash sounds like a bro, and whoever voice Batman YOU'RE NOT KEVIN CONROY! STOP COPYING KEVIN CONROY! The animation is pretty much the same animation from Young Justice but that is totally not a negative because Young Justice has amazing drawn animations so the animation in Justice League: War was great, and the post-credit scene was surprising and set up for a potential sequel. Now let's go through the rosters, shall we?:

Superman - more like Super-jerk! But seriously, yeah this is the new 52 Superman and this Superman is a dickwad but I grew to like him as the movie progress. Superman is pretty much in the background and I don't mind so the other characters have room to show their stuff.

Batman - well he was the Goddamn Batman! Despite the voice acting, he was pretty spot-on and great in the movie so there's not much to say.

Wonder Woman - over-the-top and corny dialogues aside HOLY SHIT DID SHE KICK SOOOOO MANY ASSSSSSS!!!!! [frick]ing Diana ain't nothin' to be [frick] with! She was totally the best part of the entire movie, regardless the lines they fed her.

Green Lantern - so Hal Jordan has the most powerful object in the entire universe and yet still get his ass kick? Like a lot? Boo! And he was way more of a jerk than Superman! In fact, he was a complete asshole! But there where a few funny lines from Hal that had me laughing and his True Blood reference when talking about Batman had me giggling so he *sorta gets a past. At the end we did get the true Green Lantern and watch him shine.

The Flash - I love how Barry and Hal already knew each other and he totally fanboys out when he meets Batman for the first time! And he was also the second best part in Justice League: War in how they showcase The Flash's superpower. He had the coolest scenes.

Shazam/Captain Marvel - I love Captain Marvel but there is no reason in why he replaced Aquaman other than....his powers are cooler than Aquaman? I don't know! He was good but surely wasted. And Billy Batson was little jerk. However, he did had the best line in the entire movie: “Hey, Blackheart the Deatheater, or whatever your “World of Warcraft” name is, SUCK ON THIS!” I do indeed really like his develop friendship with Victor Stone aka Cyborg which leads me to....

Cyborg - Look, let's put this out of the way: Cyborg is a Teen Titan; NOT a Justice League. Teen Titan >>>>>> Justice League. Got it? Good! But his origin was really, really good (how convenient his scientist father had a hi-tech medical bed with alien technology that would save Victor's life and give him his cyborg body, huh??) and Cyborg was really in the movie to "talk" to the Apokolips devices in revealing Darksied terraforming the Earth plan. Pretty sure Martian Manhunter would have figure Darkseid's evil plan without the use of talking to computers. Just saying.

And as for the God of Evil, the Dark Lord Darksied? He makes no difference whatsoever. He was evil, he was a bad-ass but that'ssssssss....it! Very much one dimensional. Never told why he wanted to terraform Earth in the first place other than [frick] you, he's Darksied and that's why. The tracking eye beams were pretty cool, though.

Overall, Justice League: War had me entertain. It was fun watching my favorite DC super characters fighting against flying aliens and Darksied. If you are looking for the next Batman: Under the Red Hood or Flashpoint than I'm sorry to tell you but you will be disappointed. I do admit, I like how they hinted a future love connection between Supes and Wonder Woman like in the current comics. This is surely a New 52 animated movie and I don't know if that is a good complement or what! But I am so looking forward to the sequel. Very flaw but not a waste. A for sure guilty pleasure 7.5/10

The whole movie was one-dimensional. It's like they flashed a barrage of ideas, but never explored them. Everything is presented on the surface, but never touched upon.

Superman was as much in the background as a street in Metropolis. The superhero formerly known as Captain Marvel appears out of nowhere, and I suppose he sort of gives Billy an outlet, but at the same time, this kid is a little jerk. Cyborg was actually pretty likeable, but again, there's no room to explore him any, and I wasn't particularly happy with the way he simply gets going in his new body. Green Lantern is an idiot, not even a likeable one, just one with a power ring. Flash was alright, no complaints there. Wonder Woman was the worst, however - as she manages to come across as a moron and Thor's sister, as though because she's from another civilization, she should be stupid.

Darkseid might as well have been Bowser. Desaad was... unimportant.

I don't like this movie, but I don't hate it, sort of indifferent, can-watch-some-clip-on-YouTube-kind.
-Superman is Superjerk
-Pretty much everyone in the Justice League is killing
-Darkseid is severely nerfed, and defeated in a stupid, yet kind of logical way; I am not sure if it is like this in the comics
-Can tolerate Jason O'Mara (correct spelling) as Batman
-A lot of screen time for Cyborg, and it is good
Overall, 5/10 for me.

I don't hate this movie, and it isn't one of my favourites, but it's still alright to me, besides the issues like;

-Superman being an incredible jerk and just felt Thor in the Avengers; always floating around and shouting the obvious
-Wonder Woman was pretty obnoxious too and I didn't like her voice actress
-Lantern, Flash, Cyborg and Batman were all fine
-I liked Shazam's role in the film (Aside from him stealing Flash's quote at the end of the film about the Super Seven), but there are so many more well known and interesting heroes to replace Aquaman with
-The artwork felt a little weird at times, mainly with Darkseid.

Overall, 7/10
