ZACK SNYDER's JUSTICE LEAGUE: Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, And More React To The Movie's Release

Zack Snyder's Justice League is officially coming our way, but how have the movie's cast members and other actors and filmmakers reacted to the news? Here, we've compiled the most must-see reactions...

By now, you're no doubt well aware that the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut campaign paid off, and that Zack Snyder's Justice League will be released on HBO Max in 2021. Right now, a decision is being made on whether to have it stream as a movie or series, but regardless of what form it takes, fans and supporters of this campaign are beyond excited.

It's been a long battle to bring the "Snyder Cut" out of the shadows and into the public eye, but Warner Bros. has made the right decision, and scored some goodwill with fanboys in the process.

The cast of the movie also appear to be overjoyed by the news, while other actors and filmmakers have weighed in (including directors like Josh Trank and David Ayer - no strangers to creative differences with studios behind the scenes).

We've now compiled the best reactions for you guys to take a look at. From Henry Cavill to Jason Momoa, and beyond, just hit the "Next" button below to check them out!

10. Henry Cavill

Given how widely ridiculed Henry Cavill's CGI jawline has been since Justice League was released, it's felt like the British actor has tried to distance himself from the movie, offering only very vague comments when asked for his thoughts on the "Snyder Cut" of the movie.

Well, that changed last night when Cavill joined Zack Snyder's Man of Steel watch party, and he's since released a lengthy statement asking for unity between fans and congratulating the director.

9. Jason Momoa

Aquaman star Jason Momoa has been a vocal "Snyder Cut" supporter from the start, a surprise considering the fact you'd think that would run the risk of him dirtying his nest with Warner Bros.!

He clearly loves Zack Snyder like a brother, though, and has frequently made headlines for praising the original version of Justice League, something which helped with this campaign massively.

8. Ray Fisher

Zack Snyder gave Ray Fisher his big break by casting him as Cyborg in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and while his chances to play the character have been limited, it's possible we still wouldn't even know who he is had the filmmaker not chosen him to play this superhero.

Another vocal #ReleaseTheSnyderCut supporter, Fisher is clearly excited to see this version of Justice League on HBO Max, and no doubt keen for fans to finally see Cyborg's full story arc.

7. Ray Porter

Ray Porter's name may not jump off the page, but he was supposed to play a key role in Justice League. Zack Snyder cast him to play Darkseid in the movie, and after Joss Whedon completely cut the villain from the theatrical version, he will finally get the chance to shine in the "Snyder Cut."

It's unlikely that he has a major role, and we don't know if he actually voices Darkseid as well as playing him, but he was clearly happy to discover that Zack Snyder's Justice League is coming to HBO Max.

6. Freddy Bouciegues

We have no doubt that some of you love Zack Snyder's work, while others no doubt hate it. His work is divisive at the best of times, but something we can surely agree on is he knows his way around an action scene. Helping him with that on Justice League was stunt coordinator Freddy Bouciegues, and he also took to Instagram to share his support with a simple: "Victory!"

5. David Ayer

David Ayer knows too well what it's like to clash with Warner Bros., and he's made no secret of the fact that the version of Suicide Squad which ended up in theaters wasn't his original vision.

Unfortunately, the demand for "#ReleaseTheAyerCut" just isn't there, and as great as it would be to see all those cut scenes of The Joker (not to mention the movie's original ending), we're finding it hard to believe that would be a priority for HBO Max...which is a genuine shame!

4. Jay Oliva

Jay Oliva has served as a storyboard on all of Zack Snyder's films, including Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League. While he's chosen his words carefully over the years, it's been clear he was on board with the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement from the start.

In the Tweet above, he congratulates Snyder and the fans who have supported him, while echoing the thoughts of many of the latter: it's now worth taking out a subscription for HBO Max!

3. Josh Trank

Like David Ayer, Josh Trank knows what it's like to have a studio wrestle control of a movie away from you, and the version of Fantastic Four we saw in theaters was not the one he wanted to release.

He's since moved on, and there's no way a "Trank Cut" of that film will be on the table for Disney now Marvel Studios is working on a reboot. On the plus side, he's clearly happy for Snyder, and is now planning to actually watch Justice League when it premieres on HBO Max next year.

2. Joe Manganiello

Joss Whedon reshot Justice League's post-credits scene to tease the arrival of the Injustice League, but it's widely believed that the original one was going to focus on Lex Luthor sending Deathstroke after Batman (likely to get revenge for locking him up in Arkham Asylum).

Now The Batman is serving as a reboot directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson, that's a fight we'll never get to see, but Deathstroke actor Joe Manganiello is clearly excited for us to see the original version of that scene. Hopefully, it will still be included in some way.

1. Zack Snyder

We've obviously brought you a lot of comments from Zack Snyder, but including his Tweet here still feels worthwhile. After all, how better to break this news to fans than with a simple, "This is real."

After all, it's hard to believe this is really happening, but the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement paid off, and we're now going to see whether the filmmaker delivers a better movie than Joss Whedon's.

Top of my hypothetical wishlist for the Snyder Cut:

New Cyborg scenes
Deathstroke
Martian Manhunter (tbd)

It's time to polish this turd, big time.

@L0RDbuckethead - The thing I’m hoping for most is the Junkie XL score tbh, that Elfman one didn’t fit at all as much as I love his work

I hope they fix some of the cgi. Steppenwolf looked like a videogame cut scene

I wonder how Joss feels about all of this. I remember when they announced that he would be taking over the helm after Zack's daughter's death. I was excited. I even remember having Thor: Ragnarok "YES" GIF coming to mind. Then I saw it opening night. Was it my favorite of the 3 (MoS, BvS, JL), no...but I left wondering what his, Zack Snyder's initial vision was. I look forward to seeing this come full-circle for him.

@CWBNGAJEEPGUY85

I honestly doubt Whedon/Snyder collaborated at all on the final, theatrical movie.
