JUSTICE LEAGUE: Zack Snyder Confirms Young Darkseid And Plans For The Anti-Life Equation
Yesterday, some Justice League concept art started doing the rounds seemingly featuring a young Darkseid and now Zack Snyder has weighed in on that and dropped some hints about what he had planned...
Zack Snyder's Justice League was clearly meant to be a lot different and vastly more complex than what we ended up seeing in theaters last November. That's evident from concept art which has started doing the rounds seemingly revealing a young Darkseid invading Earth and doing battle with Greek God Ares.
Now, the filmmaker has taken to Vero to not only confirm that was indeed Darkseid but to also make it clear that the villain was on Earth looking for the Anti-Life Equation. In the comic books, that's been depicted as one of the greatest threats to the DC Universe as it gives Darkseid the power over all life.
It would have been very interesting seeing that on the big screen, especially after that apparent flashforward in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to an Earth conquered by the Justice League's enemy. We'll never get to see that become a reality as Warner Bros. clearly felt it was too complex.
Are you disappointed that we didn't get to see this storyline play out in the DC Comics movie?
