Latest JUSTICE LEAGUE Set Photos May Confirm That The Team's Hall Of Justice Is Going To Be Introduced

As Justice League reshoots continue in London, this latest batch of images from the set might just confirm that the team's base of operations, The Hall of Justice, will be making an appearance...

Previous Justice League reshoot set snaps have hinted as a Wonder Woman flashback and a trip to Gotham City, and this latest batch may confirm that we'll also be seeing The Hall of Justice.

Though the structure in the photos could turn out to be something else entirely, there's no denying that the part that's visible, at least, does bear a resemblance to the League's headquarters which we first saw in the Super Friends animated series back in the '70s before it was introduced in the comics.

The other photos feature those GCPD gargoyles we've seen previously, as well as what appears to be military or construction equipment.

In related news, Geoff Johns has been having some Twitter fun with the fans who seem to think Joss Whedon's reshoots mean the entire film is being restructured around the Avengers director's vision.

That does look like the Hall of Justice building, but I feel like it would have been cheaper to just have filmed a scene in front of the Cincinnati Union Terminal, instead of building a whole new set.

If this really is the Hall of Justice I hope the inside will have huge statues of the founding members in the building.

@BlackIceJoe - I feel like those statues should be erected AFTER they save the world. Which, this might very well be the last scene of the movie, but Bruce building a giant statue of flash, curry, and cyborg before he even really knows him is just creepy.

If this is their headquarters BEFORE they save the world, it would make more sense to not have the statue.

@BlackIceJoe - Very true, the Union Terminal does bear a lot of resemblances. I would have gone over to see the shooting lol

@OozyOrifice - I thought it was implied, but I guess not and that falls on me for not making it clear. Maybe one of the last scenes is the audience gets to see the statues being added.

@ArmFallOffBoy - Seeing as in the past it was said Cincinnati Union Terminal was the inspiration for the look of the Hall of Justice, it isn't a surprise there is resemblances.

@BlackIceJoe - also, didn't they kind of use shots of it for the Hall of Justice in Legends of Tomorrow last season?
BlackIceJoe
BlackIceJoe - 6/16/2017, 8:09 AM
@tugboy - I think they did use stock footage. It could have been a new shot, but why not use the shot that was already made and free to use.

@BlackIceJoe - Seems like a waste of money -- that terminal definitely looks the part (unless they don't allow filming there?). I really hope they have the Watchtower with the HoJ being a front like in JLU.

Hm. Maybe that was just Young Justice.

Whether it is the Hall of Justice or not might be missing the bigger picture... as this does not seem like minor reshoots and additions.
Also, regarding the structure, it clearly has a spike topped wall in front of it like it is in a courtyard and an archway leading into the courtyard... doesn't sound like the Hall of Justice i am familiar with but who knows.

@tugboy - seeing the HOJ during the CW crossovers was fantastic!!! Loved it. Just like when Flash shows the Flash Museum. Great job incorporating then junto the shows.

@MonsieurClunge - As a fan who LOVED MoS, BvS and The first Avengers film....the one thing I felt like MoS could have used was the peoples reaction after the battle like the Avengers. Loved how Joss did the news take on the incident. That would have made it 10/10, period. If we get this in JL with Snyders style, Terrios writing and Whedons finishing touch!! Man that will make a Perfect cinematic CBM! Getting exited.

@MonsieurClunge - @MonsieurClunge - Yes! I love Man of Steel and I think BvS took steps in showing ppl react to Supes. But I'd love to see Superman him in a Parade amongst the ppl.

Wouldn't it be easier to just rent out the actual building? Isn't that what CW did on the Flash?
NinnesMBC
NinnesMBC - 6/16/2017, 7:43 AM
@rabid - It sure would and honestly that is when I would prefer but maybe since the DC TV Multiverse shows already used it first and in such a flawless & cool way from the start they might want to do their own thing to leave their own mark or something like that.

As long as The CW is still allowed to have that Hall for the crossovers and the DCEU their own then I think it could be a win-win scenario for all.
JonC
JonC - 6/16/2017, 8:18 AM
@rabid - maybe they plan on blowing it up.

NinnesMBC - 6/16/2017, 10:28 AM
@2013venjix - True. It is really I think just a matter of time before it eventually debuts in the films.
Origame
Origame - 6/16/2017, 6:12 PM
@NinnesMBC - Well Young Justice used the hall as a front for the Watchtower. Maybe building it themselves would allow for FX to simulate that.
DigitalJedi
DigitalJedi - 6/18/2017, 11:44 AM
@rabid - They modified footage of it to look like a hangar. Not exactly movie quality effects. The actual building is miles away from any of the set locations, and unless I'm mistaken, is under renovation forthe next year. Plus, I mean, they do plan on making more than one movie.
