New KICK-ASS, HIT-GIRL And KINGSMAN Movies On The Way From Matthew Vaughn's Marv Studios
Director Matthew Vaughn is in the process of setting up a new studio, and he's confirmed to Empire that a reboot of Kick-Ass, a solo Hit-Girl flick and at least 2 more Kingsman projects are in the works...
We'be heard whispers of a Kick-Ass reboot from writer Mark Millar in the past, but Matthew Vaughn has now confirmed that he'll be revisiting the characters first introduced in his 2010 adaptation via his new studio.
Vaughn revealed to Empire that he's planning a new Kick-Ass movie (most likely featuring Patience Lee under the mask), along with a solo Hit-Girl outing which will either focus on an older Mindy Macready, or flashback to her younger years growing up under the tutelage of Big Daddy.
But that's not all. In addition to another Kingsman movie which would cap-off the "Harry Hart-Eggsy relationship" trilogy, there's a spinoff titled Kingsman: The Great Game, an eight-hour TV show, and a Statesman film in the works.
That's quite a lot to take in! Be sure to let us know what you think of these developments in the comments below.
