IRON MAN Star Gwyneth Paltrow Seemingly Confirms That Pepper Will Suit-Up In AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR

There are a lot of theories going around about Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4. However, we may now have some inside info on what will being going on with Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts.

Last time we saw Pepper Potts she was making a surprising cameo in Spider-Man: Homecoming last year, and Avengers Infinity War and/or its untitled Avengers sequel will bring back Tony Stark's fiance.  GwenythPaltrow was on The Late Show on Thursday night, and she revealed some interesting news.

Stephen Colbert asked whether she will have any powers in this gigantic Marvel event. 

Paltrow replied, "You know, to be totally honest, I'm unclear. Because it's so secretive and it's all on green screen, and I'm not exactly sure. And they don't let me say anything."

Colbert, trying to dig up some more info, asked,"Is there any chance, at any point, when you were working on the movie, did you thrust your hand toward someone wearing a blue suit with ping pong balls on it?

Paltrow simply replied, "Yes". 

Well, would you look at that? Seems like Pepper may suit up in some Iron Man armor after all. This could mean a couple things; Either she wears a regular Iron Man suit, or something like the Rescue armor from the comics. 

Avengers: Infinity War will assemble in theaters on May 4.

@TheBlueMorpho - she might, or even banner with all the rumors flying around.

But I do have a theory that she might be the one in the iron man suit while getting knocked out by Thanos. Which then connects to the 1st scene in the trailer where we see Tony Stark holding someone's hand(presumably Peppers I believe) she either gets really hurt, or dies.

@TheBlueMorpho - no... the trailer, the one getting punched in the face by thanos/killed my thanos (if you ask me), the one stark is crying over. Is pepper. She rushes in the attack Thanos and protect her man and dies with one punch

@JohnMarston220 - the hand he is holding is the same size as his, not small like hers, and in the proper position to be his. the hand is dirty like it may have just handled something that had hit the ground or been blasted.

Is this really surprising? It's the coup de Gras for many of these characters, evolving and concluding them in a sort of marvel swan song. They hinted at rescue in Iron Man 3, this might be the last chance they get before the big refocus post infinity war.

@ODanil - Right, the wording she gave to Colbert indicates she isn't wearing the blue suit. But it also indicates she is likely in a suit of her own (thrusting her hand, a la hand thruster).

She said she worked with someone wearing a CGI blue suit not herself wearing a CGI bluesuit

Isn't there set photos of Stark, Pepper, and Banner? Perhaps Pepper meets Hulk.
