NOMAD Project Rumored To Be In Development At Marvel Studios

We're not sure if it's a movie or something for Disney+, but it looks like a Nomad project of some description is in development at Marvel Studios. Could it tie-into The Falcon and The Winter Soldier?

Marvel announced and confirmed plans for several upcoming projects last Thursday during Disney's Inventors Day, but it looks like one intriguing-sounding property was absent from the presentation.

Murphy's Multiverse is reporting that “Marvel Studios Nomad” has now been trademarked along with Secret Invasion, Ironheart and Armor Wars. This would seem to suggest that Nomad will be yet another Disney+ series, but that's far from the only possibility.

Before the release of Avengers: Infinity War, there was a lot of speculation that Steve Rogers would ditch the Captain America persona and suit-up as Nomad, and while he did wind up embracing the spirit of the wandering vigilante in the movie, he never officially took up that mantle. Of course, Rogers' superhero days are long behind him in the current timeline, but he wasn't the only character to operate under the moniker of Nomad in the comics.

Jack Monroe could be introduced at some point, or perhaps Wyatt Russel's US Agent from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will don the mantle once Sam Wilson officially becomes the new Cap?

With the MCU set to embrace the Multiverse in a big way, it's difficult to even hazard a guess as to what this project will entail and which character it'll focus on, but the source has been spot on with other recent scoops, so we are inclined to believe that something involving Nomad is indeed in the works.

What do you guys make of this? Any interest in a Nomad series or movie? Drop us a comment down below.
