Will Smith On MEN IN BLACK 4: "I Think Three Is Enough For Me"
Will Smith talks about potentially reprising his role as Agent J in a fourth Men In Black film, saying that he'll definitely consider it but there's a strong possibility that someone else will take over. Could that someone be his son Jaden?
Earlier this month, Sony confirmed plans to develop a fourth Men In Black movie when the studio hired Oren Uziel to write the script. With the conclusion of the third film last summer, it would make sense to leave it at that. But with the right story, Men In Black 4 could be very good. Plus, with MIB3 becoming the highest grossing installment in the franchise, it would be ideal for Sony to move forward with the series. It was previously expected that Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones will return as Agents J and K, respectively, yet again. But in an interview with Collider at the After Earth press junket, Smith doesn't sound entirely certain if he will put on the black suit for a fourth go-around. "Uh, y'know... I think three is enough for me. Three of anything is enough for me. We'll look at it and we'll consider it, but it feels like that it might be time to let someone else do that." Collider then brought up the possibility of Smith's son Jaden (who co-stars with his father in After Earth) taking over for the fourth film, and Will sounds very open to the idea.
