Batman will kick off the first line of DC Direct figures from the DCnU that will be released this year. At last years New York Comic Con the prototypes of the figures were on
display and now, thanks to a heads up by
Comic Alliance, you can add the new redesigned Batman to your collection on May 2nd. The figure will stand 6.75" tall and it is unclear at the moment whether or not it will come with accessories.
As you can see there is a silhouette of the other Justice League member, minus Cyborg, behind Batman. So this probably mean we can expect the full line around the same time as the Batman figure. Matell is also handling a line of action figures for DCnU that is slated for a 2012 release as well, but no word on when exactly.
