Firstly I would like to say this is my first article on this site and i'm not sure how to post pictures so please dont hassle me over that.

Title:The Batman

Director:Zack Snyder

Zack Snyder is experienced with CBM's having done Watchmen and 300. I believe is dark and graphic style will make him the perfect director for a reboot.

Plot:The movie begins with Bruce already Batman and having been so for around a year. The public hold protests against him regularly. The police force are pleased about the job Batman is doing yet have to to try and hunt down Batman due to him being a vigilante and under public pressure.Edward Nigma works for Gotham Police Force and is assigned to the Batman case where he becomes obsessed with Batman and tries to figure out his identity. Black Mask is a major Crimelord with the mobs and is feared by many in Gotham. His plan is to burn Gotham down to the ground and build it again under his control. This plan is obviously very ludicrous and many of his own gang disagree with his plan. He has links with a nightclub owner who is a secret mob leader under the nickname The Penguin. He supplies Black Mask and is one of those who is scared of him. The love interest is Catwoman who is inspired by Batman to become more than just an average office worker as she pursues fame and fortune. She adopts her Catwoman persona and robs banks and jewelery shops so she can become famous and she attends a conference where her and Bruce hit it off. Riddler offers his services to Black Mask in return of Black Mask killing Batman so Riddler can finally find out his identity. It ends with Batman fighting Black Mask in a burning Wayne Towers with Black Mask choking on the smoke and he feints. Black Mask face is blown by a small blast and just as Batman is about to leave him to die. He see's it is Roman and runs to save him. He jumps out of the tower and smashes into a car. Black Mask dies with his face burnt to black showing how he was taken over by his alter ego. Riddler is located by the police after hacking their files and is taken to arkham and when Bruce dumps the fame hungry Selina she goes on a mad killing spree through Gotham and she is captured by Batman. She goes mad and stabs Batman. As she teases him by brushing her knife across his neck. Batman reveals himself to her and she realizes she tried to kill the man she loved. Shocked and confused she runs off into the night and as Batman chases after her he finds her dead after jumping her flat roof where she had hit breaking point over all her actions and gives her life.

Batman/Bruce Wayne:Matt Bomer

After trying to find the perfect replacement for Christian Bale as Batman I have settled on Matt Bomer. He is a good actor and reminds me of a playboy. Other candidates for me were Chris Pine,Henry Cavill,Tom Hardy and Milo Ventimiglia. Jon Hamm is a little too old for my liking.

Alfred:Sean Connery

A very hard pick as Alfred is very hard to cast. John Cleese doesn't suit my taste with him being a comedy actor. So I decided on Sean Connery who I believe has the right look and presence to be a solid Alfred

Commissioner Gordon:William H Macy

My one and only pick for Commissioner. In my eyes he was born for this role. Oldman has done a fantastic job as Gordon and I can only see Macy replacing him.

Lucius Fox:Laurence Fishbourne

In my reboot he would play a small role yet very important. He will supply Batman with some new gadgets so he can keep up with Catwoman. Laurence I believe would do a very solid job with Fox.

Black Mask/Roman Sionis:Leonardo Di Caprio

This one troubled me. Guy Pearce was the fan favorite but I also thought about Clive Owen. But the I chose Di Caprio as he was around the same age as Bomer and I think he could portray the cold ways of Black Mask with a greater edge.

The Riddler/Edward Nigma:Johnny Depp

He's the favorite for the role and I definitely want to see him as a crazed and obsessed version of The Riddler. One who sits there on his computer all day and newspaper clipping of Batman all over his flat.

Catwoman/Selina Kyle:Marion Cottilard

She is very hot and she is a great actress. She could play Catwoman so well and could make a believable couple with Bomer. My other choice was Kate Beckinsale but I didn't think she would fit with Bomer.

The Penguin/Oswald Cobblepot:Alfred Molina

He was great as Doc Ock and I think he would be brilliant as Penguin. Not an obese and weird version like Returns but a corrupt club owner who gains extra money through the mobs. He would be a less featured villain like Falcone and not one of the main villains yet still has an important role.

Don't agree with your Batman choice. Batman is supposed to be intimidating, Matt Bomer is NOT intimidating....in the slightest. Also, it's only the new movies that made Bruce Wayne out to be a playboy....Wayne in the comics is a humanitarian and expert buisnessman...he's not Tony Stark.

@ninjaturtlefan- No, superhero movies NEED reboots when the series is finished. Nolan himself said that not only will this be the last Batman movie he makes, but they will make sure this particular story cannot be continued. And I'm glad.

Continuations SUCK BALLS. History has proven this, remember the last time a director 'continued' a Batman film series....we ended up with Batman Forever and Batman and Robin.

Continuing in the same universe or whatever distracts people from the mythology of the original with all of the stylistic, cast etc changes. It's silly, they might as well reboot.

Remember how pissed off people got and still are that Ed Norton got replaced? That's just ONE actor...imagine pretty much everyone, the style and tone etc

It doesn't make sense. Reboots are nessasary.

Matt is cool, but my choice is Josh Brolin!

Crispin Glover as Joker
Max Von Sydow as Alfred
Marion Cotillard definitely as Catwoman
Ed Harris or Mark Strong as Mr. Freeze
Jason Patric or Billy Crudup as Two-Face
Javier Bardem as Bane
Daniel Day-Lewis as Ra´s Al Ghul
John Malkovich as Hugo Strange
Mads Mikkelsen as Black Mask
Willem Dafoe as Killer Croc (With motion capture)
Danny Huston as Penquin (Thou Molina is not a bad choice)
and well Johnny Depp is good Riddler

@LEEE777 Thanks Man!

@AlexDeLarge666 Good cast, never thought about Mads Mikkelsen for Black Mask. Most of your choices are solid but i'm not convinced about Glover for Joker. My favourite is James Franco.

@Ryden I think Bomer could be good as Bruce Wayne. I think he has the right look. If not Bomer who would you pick?

@George- Well I was the first person to come up with the Tom Hardy for Batman thing. So I'm sticking with that. Boemr looks to goody good, he doesn't look like Batman. Hardy on the other hand is built, dark hair, right face...and he's 9999999999999999999 X the actor that Bomer is.

George97@ Then watch Willard. Glover is fricking great in it. Then you see why i chose him.:)
But if you want someone more good looking guy, my choice would be Jude Law. That guy can be very vicious time to time (Road to Perdition, AI, Repo Men, Sleuth)

GEORGE @ Coolios, an don't listen to Ryden, BOMER's perfect dude! ; )

Hey TOM HARDY's too perfect for DEADSHOT anyways! : P

Gotta agree with Alex tho, I too have GLOVER, watch 'WILLARD' classic movie!

Ryden - 9/29/2010, 3:23 PM
@LEEE- No he's not, he's not intimidating in the slightest. Seriously man have you ever read a Batman comic before? Bomer ISN'T Bruce Wayne, and he never will be, he's a baby-face. How could he strike terror into the criminals of Gotham with a face like that?

Tom Hardy is PERFECT for Batman, PERFECT. He looks the part to a T and is a fantastic actor. He may make a good Deadshot yes, but why WASTE him on Deadshot when he could excel as the Dark Knight.

You need to get your priorities fixed man.

Ryden you kill me man you NEVER say anything is good. ummm dont quote me on that though =) i think bomer could do batman. definatly a new pick i think it could catch in- better than him as supes. hardy would be excellant though thats for sure- but hes not identical to the 956 wats artists have portrayed the all-american dark haired white guy- i mean if you think about bruce and clark have looked the same 348 times. but with minor exceptions-good ones i feel like ive seen this cast before- still good though

Tom Hardy is f*cking great actor, but Josh Brolin is the right man for this job. He or who can scare the sh*t to the pants! He would be f*cking brutal as Batman!:D
Ryden
Ryden - 9/30/2010, 4:03 PM
@ager- Dude Bomer isn't a 'new' pick, a lot of people like him for either Bats or Supes....I don't know why because he doesn't feel like either. My argument is if Tom Hardy is a better choice, and people recognise that, then why not cast him? What's the point in having him as a character like Deadshot when you can have him as the leading man.
