First VERY Brief Look At The Set Of Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D Series

Marvel's Agent M (aka Ryan Penagos) has been posting some pretty silly, unrevealing vids from the set of the studio's currently shooting S.H.I.E.L.D tv series, but this one finally gives us a look at the set - albeit a millisecond glimpse!..

So not much, but love it or hate it, it does still count as our first official set vid/image. Hopefully this is only the beginning and we get to see some more very soon. You can click on the link below to see the previous vids. Some of em are amusing enough, but don't expect any big revelations!

Whoa, that's way too much for them to reveal so early, they basically just spoiled the whole season. Bad move, marvel.

@jCameron
How did Joss Whedon destroy Captain America in the Avengers?
Are you exaggerating because of the costume? Or do you actually think he wrote the character wrong?
I'm just curious.

@jcameron he had his comedic moments but the relationship established between him and coulson gave a more emotional impact upon the latter character's death also cap stepped it up as field leader at the end! I see where you're coming from but to say Whedon destroyed Captain America is a little ridiculous....

If anything say he destroyed hawkeye...renner got shafted in the avengers and we all know it still my favorite CBM but they all have their flaws look at sin city no Jessica alba boobs...biggest flaw right thurrrrrrrr hahaha

@jCameron In fact, Whedon took what was done in the previous movies and deepend the characterizations, despite not being able to give each character much screen time. A case in point to how brilliant I thought the whole thing was: one of my favorite subtle things in the movie was the scene in which Captain America is helping Iron Man out with repairing the Hellicarrier. Whedon absolutely nails Cap's personality as established in his first solo movie, expands on it and strengthens it. Whedon wisely has Cap without his trademark shield in this scene, and it allows us to focus on Cap being Cap. Among other things, he fearlessly leaps from platform to platform 10,000 feet above the ground, grabs a machine gun from the enemy and returns fires like the soldier he is, and even without his shield charges head first into enemy fire without a second thought to pull the lever to save Iron Man. Sure he has his "comic relief" moments - they all did - but he also gets established as a total badass who can stand toe-to-toe with people/gods with much more firepower, because he has no fear and never backs down. And he doesn't care that he has no fashion sense, he just wears his uniform and gets the job done. (It was kinda goofy, but it had its moments.)

The old and grizzled grumpy factor is high in here. Some people will not be happy unless Marvel takes their entire library of back issues and recreates everything panel-for-panel.

Seriously, though. Hollywood gave us FANTASTIC FOUR, GREEN LANTERN, and SPIDER-MAN 3. Griping on THE AVENGERS is a bit like winning a lottery and whining about paying taxes.

I am pumped for this show. But I do not have my hopes up for some spectacular CGI. It's a just starting series and the are probably working on a somewhat tight budget. I hope they go with doing things like going against AIM and not do things like fight Galactus or some other villain who would need major CGI. But as I said before, I am very pumped for this show.

I'm not a fan of the way Captain America was handled for the most part in the Avengers. They made him play second string entirely too much.
