EDITORIAL: Trolling Competition- The Nominations

The internet is one of the greatest inventions of our time. A worldwide, global network that can connect anyone anywhere to everyone everywhere. There’s no denying it has many positive impacts and uses- you can research stuff, entertain yourself, connect with friends and family abroad etc. But there’s one thing that no-one can deny- the internet is full of trolls. And CBM.com is certainly no exception.
We here at CBM.com are used to trolling by now in its many shapes and forms. Whether they be whiners, spammers, idiots, haters or smug gits who think their opinion is superior to all others, their numbers are many and their idiocy is plentiful. But through all this time, no-one has ever really tried to figure out who is the biggest perpetrator of this. Well, today I’ve decided to finally try and figure that out. And I’m going to let you- the people of this website- decide.
To do this, I’ve set up a competition. You will have to nominate 8 DC trolls and 8 Marvel trolls to compete in it. It works like a game show- each round, half of the remaining contestants are eliminated until we eventually get to a winner. When we finally have our winner, I will post another article about them and why they are the site’s biggest troll, with a petition to get them banned from the site.
Now, there are a few rules:
·       Do not just make a statement like ‘I nominate all ‘X’ fans, as they are all trolls anyway’, as this is in itself trolling and you will probably find yourself in the competition.
·       If you are entered onto the list and feel that you don’t deserve to be, don’t whinge at me. The users of this site make the list- I just write it up. Feel free to direct your anger at the general CBM community.
·       Do not just nominate a particular user because you don’t like them personally. I only accept trolls- whiners, haters, spammers, bullies etc.
