Inglorious Basterds - Movie to Comic Book?

Actually, it's just to comic strip for now. Depending on the reception, I think it's very plausible we'll be seeing an actual comic book in the very near future!!!

"If you’re at work, you might want to think twice before clicking over. Playboy magazine is publishing a comic strip adaptation of a scene from "Inglourious Basterds" and it’s also available on their website. Perhaps more safe would be checking out two preview pages at "The Huffington Post," where I first caught wind of this amusing PR trick. According to them, the scene in question was “hand-picked and edited by Quentin Tarantino” - as well, of course, as coming straight from his screenplay and movie.

The artwork for the strip was done by R.M Guera and colored by Giulia Brasco who also collaborated on Vertigo comics’ Scalped. How amusing. I can almost imagine Tarantino hollering “And I want my (artwork done by the people who do) Scalped” with Lt. Raine’s deep southern drawl."

Please, please, please, please, PLEEEEAAASE have Mr. Tarantino start writing some comic books lord!!! PLEEEEASE?!!!

People who say his movies are mindless haven't taken the time to watch one. NOT ONLY can he tell a powerful original story, but he does so through the unconventional use of multiple genres. he doesn't set a whole movie in a specific genre, he chooses one that fits the scene.
i guess some people are just ignorant
