As of yet all that the producers are willing to dish out is that Jeff Bridges will play an old-school colleague of Tony Stark.

Fine by us, chalking up another Oscar nominee up for this movie cant hurt! Bridges is probably known best for his performance as The Dude in “The Big Lebowski.” His other credits include movies such as “Tron,” “Starman,” “Thunderbolt and Lightfoot,” “Fearless” and many more.

Marvel’s Kevin Feige commented, saying: "He's excited about doing a movie like this, and we're excited to have him in this particular role. This rounds out our ensemble, and I think it's one of the strongest casts ever assembled for one of our films."

Iron Man begins production next month, with a targeted release date of next May!
