Miller wants to Directs his "Hard Boiled" Series.

"Carl Seltz is a suburban insurance investigator, a loving husband, and devoted father. Nixon is a berserk, homicidal tax collector racking up mind-boggling body counts in a diseased urban slaughterhouse. Unit Four is the ultimate robot killing machine - and the last hope of the future's enslaved mechanical servants. And they're all the same psychotic entity" -mycomicshop.com

The Hard Boiled series was written by Frank Miller with art by Geof Darrow. It won the Eisner Award for best Wirtter/Artist in 1991. It was orinally planned to star Nicholas Cage and be directed by David Fincher. Now, Frank has been quoted on saying that he would like to direct this series. He told MTV, “We’re talking about [it]. I’ve got a really unusual way I want to do it. I’m in love with directing. I’ve found a way to expand my career. Comics and directing are really two sides of the same coin. That’s what Robert Rodriguez taught me… good drama is good drama.”

This would be his first solo directing job on one of his own comic adaptaions. Yet, the current flow of bad reviews that have been drifting around his first solo directoral debut have been awful at best. The Spirit, whether it is or isn't as bad as they say, appears that it will flop big time. Will he be allowed to direct on his own, or does he need someone like Robert Rodriguez to hold his hand?
