We're a few days into 2015 now, but we want you to cast your minds back and let us know which dastardly evil-doer you thought was the best (and by default, the worst) of last year. There are 20 comic book movie baddies for you to choose from after the jump.

As you can see, we were pretty comprehensive with our list, but there are a few notable exclusions. Though we did include secondary villains/henchmen  such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier's Rumlow and GOTG's Korath, those that made just a single appearance (Thanos) or did nothing but shout incoherently and make stupid faces in their scenes (Rhino) didn't make the cut. Also, it can be argued that Magneto wasn't really a full-tilt villain in X-Men: Days Of Future Past, but since he ultimately wound up serving as an antagonist to Xavier and co., he qualifies. So vote away and let us know the reasons for your picks in the usual place. Be sure to check back over the next couple of days for the heroes poll.

In case you're wondering, although we covered the likes of DOTPOTA and Hunger Games etc, since they're not "true" CBMs, they weren't included.

Also, much respect for including Wilford and Mason from Snowpiercer. Tilda Swinton gave the performance of a lifetime.

You couldn't go wrong with voting for any of the 3 villains in The Winter Soldier, either.

Not really a great year for villains. I don't count Winter Soldier as a villain, but if I did he'd win for me. Pierce and Trask were decent and served their purpose. Magneto was just kind of annoying. Electro and Green Goblin sucked. Everything in TMNT sucked. Ronan was a horribly simplified, shameful waste of the character's potential. Nebula and Korath were forgettable. Yokai was pretty decent.

Lol ppl actually think Bycky was a good villain? The movie was good though. I feel like ppl only voted for him bc te movie was good but commonly in Marvel movies the villains suck.

Fassbender's Magneto completely shits on Sebastian Stan's bored and tired "performance" as the Winter Soldier.

Yes, Magneto has been explored a ton at this point but that's how all great villains are and Marvel needs to understand consistency in their villains.

To be honest this year's villains were filled with Anti Heroes. 2016 will indeed offer a vast and more credible amount of opponents.
