This is a top 10 just telling what actors potrayed thier comic characters the best.

10. Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man

I think he pulled off the nerdy, geeky
shy, Peter Parker great. Besides in 3.
He cried to much and the whole "Goth Thing"
was stupid, but thats the writers fault.

9. Michael Keaton as Batman 1 and 2

He did a superb job as the dark Knight.
He was tough, charming, and he did a
good Batman voice.

8. Edward Norton as Hulk

He did a suprisingly good job. He
is skinny, kinda nerdy, and actully
fits the bill, unlike Bana. He also
could act tough right before he turned
into Hulk.

7. Jeffery Dean Morgan as The Comedian

They could not have picked anyone better
for this character. He acted rough, some
what funny, and a little evil. Just like
in the comic.

6. Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler

Well, for one, seeing my 2nd fav
comic character on the big screen
helps with this pick. But he did a
awesome job as Nightcrawler. He pulled
off the accent greatly, he also kinda
already looks like nightcrawler.

5. Christian Bale as Batman Begins and Dark Knight

Love him as Batman, and i do think he is
better than Keaton. He just IS Batman for me.
I also love any movie he is in. But the thing
is, he is a great actor. And he has the
perfect Batman voice.

4. Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man

When I first heard he was playing Iron Man,
I wanted to cry. But After seeing the movie,
he was perfect. He acted like a ladies
man, he acted like a child sometimes, and
acted cool. Just as Iron Man does.

3. Hugh Jackman as Wolverine

Okay, aside from being tall, you couldn't
pick a better Wolverine. He looks, acts,
and just is Wolverine. He can act rough,
and a few seconds later act like a nice guy
just like Wolverine.

2. Heath Ledger as The Joker

Some of the best acting ever is Ledger
as the joker. He just acts crazy in it. No
regard for human life. Doesn't care if he
kills sick people in a hospital. He did
all of the things the Joker would do in the
comics.

1. Jackie Earl Haley as Rorschach

Best acting in any movie ever. He, for one,
looks just like Rorschach as he did in the
comic. But he did the perfect voice, said
lines perfectly and word for word said
lines from the comic. He acted disturebed,
he acted insane, he stuck a butcher knife
in a guys head. He should get the award for
best actor. No one could have done that role
like Jackie Earl Haley.

Wyatt - Gotta' give it up to you for the list... 'cept for two exceptions (techincally one-and-a-half):

1. Tobey McGuire - Peter Parker was not a nerdy, geeky! He was a bookworm - there IS a difference! Half an hour into the first film and I wanted to shove him in a locker! Tobey is good at playing geek parts because he's NOT ACTING!

2. Christian Bale - While I do agree he is one amazing actor (who can be a bit full of himself at times), he DOES NOT have the 'perfect Batman voice'. Aside from being able to only understand every third word coming out of his mouth, I feel so bad every time he speaks in that tone of voice, I want to offer him a lozenge and a bowl of hot soup for his poor throat!

Yeah, I agree with loganoneil, Tobey also isn't the best Spider-Man, he doesn't have that cocky smart ass appeal like he does in the comics.

Anil @ Wilson did an excellent job, all of the Watchmen crew did very well. But i did not want to make a "Watchmen List".

i like your list! tho i'd switch bale out for keaton in that spot. in my opinion he was a much better batman and bruce. and if im putting Bale that low anyways, might as well take him out and put in Ron Pearlman. that dude WAS hellboy

I like Bale because hes the only Batman who ever tried to hide his voice I mean really, everybody else just talked in their normal voice.
