Red is a Bruce Willis actioner that is based off a three-issue Warren Ellis comic book mini-series published in 2003 and 2004 by WildStorm (DC).

Red is the story of Frank Moses (Willis), a former black-ops CIA agent, who is now living a quiet life. That is, until the day a hi-tech assassin shows up intent on killing him. With his identity compromised and the life of the woman he cares for, Sarah (Parker), endangered, Frank reassembles his old team (Freeman, Malkovich and Mirren) in a last ditch effort to survive.

The new film is directed by Robert Schwentke (Flightplan) and stars Bruce Willis , Mary Louise Parker, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Karl Urban, Brian Cox, James Remar and Richard Dreyfuss. It hits theaters on October 15th this year.

The cast looks outstanding. What is the song in the end of the trailer? I've heard it before; can't put my finger on it.

It has a different feel than the GN, but if Warren Ellis has any input, it should be great.

If you haven't read RED, don't bother. It's legit the shortest graphic novel I've ever read.

This looks nothing like the comic, but I don't think anyone will complain since the comic would make a ten minute movie. All of the characters shown in the trailer except for Bruce Willis were fabricated for the movie. I suspect they'll make it extremely violent like the comic though. It doesn't look bad so far.

Looks pretty nice... Does anybody know if Bruce Willis is a fanboy? It sure seems like he makes a lot of CBM's and fanboy genre movies... (Sin City, Surrogates, Kane & Lynch, Unbreakable)

Nah it looks an enjoyable movie though, I'm kinda getting sick of the same ol' actors in comic book movies!

Damn BRUCE WILLIS could've been the greatest NICK FURY ever!!!



Darn darn shame.
