If this movie is as bad as Prometheus. Well, I will want this movie and franchise, under Ridley Scott's belt, to fail.

Prometheus is my biggest movie disappointment of all time. :/

Incredible movie. Hated Prometheus, this is the film that should have been. But it's also just as much an Alien film as a prometheus one. It feels like a 50/50 split. But the parts that are likePrometheus are like what it did well: David the robot and the cinematography. Unlike Prometheus, which posed interesting questions and did nothing at all with them, this film explores some really interesting philosophy and classic creator/creation themes. And while it's biggest weakness is the lead (Noomi and Sigourney are miles better), David makes up for that by becoming a classic, memorable character that I feel now deserves cult icon status. He was really good as a character in prometheus but he's [frick]ing phenomenal here.

@connorblaze - Agree.

David is [frickin] incredible in this movie. And the cinematography... it was breathtaking.

I didn't like it..
It's beyond me how a crew of a colonization ship can be so idiotic..

I loved Prometheus and I already saw Covenant two times, a mix of original Alien and the action of Aliens.
