Return To A Galaxy Far, Far Away With 16 Hi-Res Official STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI Images

Disney has released a batch of hi-res images from the new Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer and they offer up a look at everyone from Kylo Ren to Captain Phasma and the might of The First Order...

Following the release of that mind-blowing trailer, Disney and Lucasfilm have released sixteen official hi-res images from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. While these are essentially just trailer screengrabs, there are some incredible shots here which are sure to get you even more excited for the movie (or serve as a pretty awesome wallpaper; who wouldn't want a Porg gracing the screen of their computer?).

This final sneak peek seemingly featured a lot of major reveals but it arguably left us with more questions than answers. That's no bad thing, though, and it'll be good to go into the movie unspoiled.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to be released on December 14th in the UK and most other countries the next day. What do you guys think of the trailer and these new stills? Have they got you more excited for the Rian
Johnson helmed release? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section down below.

@BlindWedjat - It's what happens when your guinea pig does the fusion dance with a dolphin.

Visually those movies always looks so good. I've never been a Star Wars fan. The first SW movie I watched was TFA. I really enjoyed that movie. It gave some "Christmas-time-with-your-family" vibes. Can't wait to see this one! Hopefully they will pay a lot of respect to Fisher.

@Unites - Wait, the first you saw was the one released 2 years ago? Mind if I ask how old you are?

I love how everyone keeps saying that the story crafted by Rian was so...unexpected.
Not in a good way, at least not at first, especially when i hear Mark Hammil, but even Ridley.

This should worry me i guess, but nope, i'm more hopeful for some reason.
I think Rian has the guts to leave that Disney comfort zone (oh god, i already know this will trigger some ppl :P).

I mean yes, that third act in RO was cool as f*ck, but since it was a prequel...
It's different.

Whatever, i'm excited for this movie! :)

@Doomsday8888 - I'm triggered. (I'm not sure why, but when people suggest I should be, it triggers me more than things that actually trigger me.)
