Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was the focus of Lucasfilm's portion of the Walt Disney Studios panel at D23 and while some footage was shown to those in attendance, there are sadly no plans for that (or a new trailer) to be released online at this time.

However, a description has been revealed courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter and they say that it "included a fleet of dozens of star destroyers in the atmosphere of a planet. Rey and Kylo Ren appeared, fighting on a downed ship in the middle of the ocean as waves crashed around them. The biggest shot occurred at the end: Rey wearing a dark hood, sporting a double lightsaber."
 
Sounds awesome, right?

With that, comes a brand new poster which shows an intense lightsaber battle between Kylo Ren and Rey, while The Emperor's shadow looms large in the background. He's baaaaack...

I don't have much to add outside of the fact that Adam Driver's a great actor, and out-acts everyone in these films, so I hope he continues to have a great career after this wraps.

@TheDoctor1225 Yeah Marvel was underwhelming and way to short. I'm kinda thinking/hoping they will be back at the very end, like how they teased Serpent Society and then at the end of there presentation revealed it was going to be Civil War. So hoping that in the end, Marvel shows up with one more announcement, doesn't really matter what (X-Men, F4, Spidey or something else), just anything besides what we got now, even Black Panther 2, while getting a release date is nice, we already knew that was coming. So on the movie front NOTHING new as of now.

Am I the only one who's getting tired of "and the good guy appears to be bad" and magnifying everything to make it bigger, better, more "epic" - dude, she's got a Double-lightsaber!!! I mean, just give me a good story, first and foremost. The graphics could be cool, but make sure you are ending the story right first.
