The sci-fi horror starring Olivia Thirlby, Emile Hirsch, Rachael Taylor, Joel Kinnaman and Max Minghella is described as a 28 Days-like thriller that "follows five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack." It was revealed that it was actually filmed in 3-D.

certainly an interesting to portray the aliens(or not) Skyline looked good but that turned out to be piece of shit so I'll wait and see before I decide

Well that looked awesome haha but I must agree with Hellsing, Skyline looked great from the trailers... and it blew ass. So who knows until its release.
