First Official Images Of Chris Pratt And Jennifer Lawrence In Sci-Fi Movie PASSENGERS
Passengers is one of the year's most mysterious movies, but now the first official images of Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Jennifer Lawrence (X-Men: Apocalypse) have been released.
Both Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence have a pretty hardcore fanbase, so it's easy to understand why social media has been blowing up for a while now about why we've yet to see anything official from their upcoming movie Passengers. Thankfully, Entertainment Weekly has now offered up a first look at the highly anticipated sci-fi flick, and you have to believe that a trailer can't be too far behind.
Passengers is set to be released this December, and it tells the story of two out of five thousand people on a luxury interstellar spaceship taking them to the Homestead II colony 120 years away. However, they're mistakenly awakened ninety years too soon, and the duo end up making the giant shup their home and fall in love just as they release that the ship is malfunctioning and could kill them all.
Director Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game) talked to the site about Jon Spaiths' (Doctor Strange) Black List script and why he was glad to get his hands on it. "It’s one of those stories that really grabs you and you fall in love with it. It’s very smart and funny and clever and such a page turner I couldn’t put it down. Every 10 pages, something new happens! At the same time it’s a very intimate movie while taking place on this epic scale. For me, it’s a story about what’s important to live a full life. What are the things we need as humans? It’s not afraid to entertain but at the same time it asks big questions about what does it mean to really feel happy. Every generation has its love story. I feel like this is it. I had to do it." Passengers looks great, but will face some big competition from Rogue One...
