There has been a bit of hullabaloo around Scott's proposed Alien prequel recently, and there are those that wondered if it would ever even get off the ground. But now things seem to have sorted themselves out, and casting will be underway soon. But who could possibly fill Sigourney Weaver's tiny whiteys as the tough female lead? According to Mike Flemming at Deadline..
I've heard that list includes the studio's Wall Street 2 star Carey Mulligan, but another intriguing possibility I've heard more than once today is that Noomi Rapace also met and left a strong impression. I'm told that meetings are ongoing with cast and no decisions have been made
If you have seen Rapace in
Tattoo, or indeed the sequel
The Girl Who Played With Fire, you know that this could be a match made in heaven as Rapace has all of the tools needed to be a great screen presence and a kick ass action star at the same time.
