Colin Trevorrow Talks JURASSIC PARK IV; "It’s Important To Make A Movie For The Fans"
Jurassic Park IV director Colin Trevorrow (who was at one point rumoured to be up for Star Wars Episode VII) talks in detail about the upcoming movie, touching on the chances of John Williams returning, recent online rumours, and a new "bad ass" dinosaur. Check it out!
In the above interview, Colin Trevorrow confirms that Jurassic Park IV is at least "two years out" (yet another movie to add to the already packed out 2015?) and was quick to point out that he's hoping to appeal to new and old fans alike with this movie. "It’s important to make a movie for the fans but I also have to remember that there’s a lot of people who just couldn’t care less and need me to make a solid case for why the hell there’s a Jurassic Park 4 in the first place and I want to make a movie for them too." He also refused to reveal whether composer John Williams would return - despite saying "Do I love John Williams and all of his music? Of course." - and advised fans to avoid any and all spoilers in the build up to the release of the highly anticipated fourth instalment of the beloved franchise. Trevorrow also touches on a new "bad ass" dinosaur they'll be introducing, adding: "This is not a paycheck gig for me and it’s not the movie that I’m making so I can make the movies that I really want to make. I actually want to make a kick-ass Jurassic Park movie." Definitely the right man for the job I would say!
