FALLEN KINGDOM Star Jeff Goldblum Drops Some Cryptic Hints About Next JURASSIC WORLD Installment

We're still a few months away from the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but Jeff Goldblum (Dr. Ian Malcolm) has now hinted at some possible cameos for the recently confirmed third installment...

Life continues to find a way with the Jurassic Park franchise; while the second installment of the newest trilogy - Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - is still a few months away from release, a third film was confirmed over the weekend, with Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow at the helm.

Fallen Kingdom will be making some direct ties back to the original trilogy, the most overt being the inclusion of Dr. Ian Malcolm, played by Jeff Goldblum. While Goldblum is the only major cast member to return from the original trilogy, he cheekily hinted to Entertainment Tonight last month that Laura Dern's Ellie Sattler could make a small cameo in the film: "I don't want to pass on gossip like my character," Goldblum said. "But it would be good news to me and to everyone, [to] millions and billions of people all over the world… all over the universe and cosmos when Ellie Sattler returns."

In last week's episode of Watch What Happens with Andy Cohen, Goldblum continued to tease the possibility of Dern returning when asked by a caller.  “Maybe I said too much. I don’t know for sure, I can’t divulge anything [about Laura Dern’s possible cameo]. But maybe, maybe…” Additionally, Golblum hinted that there could be a few more familiar faces returning in the third installment.  “There’s gonna be another one that some people may or may not be in. That’s all I can say.”

What do you make of Goldbum's comments? Could the third Jurassic World film unite the old and new casts? Let us know your speculative ideas in the usual place!

JW was meh. The trailer for this one has got me alittle more excited but you can only do some much with an island full of dinos, everything goes to shit and then start all over..rinse, recycle,repeat...let's see what happens in this one

Sounds like they are going to end Fallen Kindgom and tease that Grant, Ellie and Malcom will all reunite.

How ironic that Trevorrow would be the director to possibly bring these three back together...and yet HE was the guy fired from Star Wars.

Spielberg > Kennedy
But then we all knew who was riding whose coat tails.

I'd love to see them finally have the dinos get to the mainland and overrun the planet. There have been tons of apocalyptic zombie type movies but one where it's dinos running around everywhere would be extremely cool. Make it Jurassic "World" for real.
