Earlier this week, composer Michael Giacchino revealed that recording had begun for the soundtrack of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and today director J.A. Bayona shared a behind the scenes video of a recording session.

This particular clip begins with the main theme introduced in the first Jurassic World and transitions into the classic Jurassic Park theme composed by the legendary John Williams. Take a listen below.

Seriously, there's so much nostalgia in those horns at the end it's enough to move a grown man to tears. There's just so much sense of wonder and discovery in it. Speaking of wondering, yes, that's 21st Century Symphony founder Ludwig Wicki conducting, as revealed by Michael Giachino on Twitter.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hits theaters June 22, 2018.

This man is some sort of John Williams reincarnation, he's so great, and almost all of music and recreations have been beyond fantastic. Here's to 40 more years!

@bobevanz - He's been my favorite composer since his LOST score. His work is far superior to Hans Zimmer IMO.

@Benjamitesandwich - Yes, I agree. I loved his work long before I knew who he was.

Dinosaurs will do well. The nostalgia aspect will also be a big draw, as will Chris Pratt to a degree.

Speaking of nostalgia.. the first one had a lawyer on a toilet. Maybe this one could have an irs agent in the shower or something. You know, maybe Chris Pratt's character forgot to file..
