The T-Rex Politely Holds A Ladder On This New JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM IMAX Poster

A new IMAX poster for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has been released online via IGN, and it sees the usually rather belligerent T-Rex politely holding a ladder for a gentleman as he climbs toward a helicopter.

Okay, so he's actually chomping away in an effort to catch his dinner - but you have to admit, it does kinda look like the iconic carnivore is lending a helping jaw!

All joking aside, early word on the follow-up to the mega-successful dino disaster flick was very positive, and Universal will be hoping this translates into more box office gold when the sequel stomps into theaters in the U.K. on June 6 and the U.S. on June 22.

Check out the poster below, and let us know if you're looking forward to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in the comments.

Wasn’t this the plot similar to The Lost World and Dino’s coming to mainland?

@IronGenesis - Yes it is similar because the Island is destroyed and they have nowhere left to go it is comparable to the refugee crisis.

I like how they went from 'the park is open' to 'the park is gone'. About the movie itself, I hope they actually have a evacuation plan in the movie. I know the logic in Jurassic World was flawed, but they must know they build the park on an active vulcano right?

@MalseMarcel - In the Jurassic Park universe - who keeps green lighting these parks that end up killing people over and over? Your business plan sucks! That's my logical flaw with it.

@ExpertlyMediocr - "The park is global"

@Kman - They should make it like Disney's Animal Kingdom. Only thing that there ever happened was an old lady getting a heart attack after seeing some kid got bitten by a snake

@MalseMarcel - Well if we go with that was established in the expanded material, the volcano had been ianctive for years, but it only right now it started to show activity.

So when they bult the park the volcano had been dead/unactive for years.

But yeah the idea of Nublar being built on a volcanic island was something that comes from the novel, its from the source material and even the expanded movie canon had established it before this film came out

@ExpertlyMediocr - I applaude you for your detailed, slightly biased bringing of this tale. The point was the snake, but that the family is milking their now dead grandma is kinda laughably pathetic

Reminds me of the ending of Batman 89

Did the T-Rex get irradiated? It's approaching Godzilla sizes there. The skulls in museums are smaller than I am, and I'm only 5'10".

@Chewtoy - Just for the poster. A lot of movies play with creature sizes to better sell the movies. Godzilla and Kong did that, The Meg is doing that, etc.

If the movie is made up of schlock like this, I think I'll enjoy it
