GODZILLA VS. KONG Delayed Slightly; Jaw-Dropping New Funko Pop Figures Featuring The Titans Revealed

Godzilla vs. Kong has been hit by another delay, but don't panic, it's not too big a deal! Some Funko Pop figures featuring the two iconic Titans have also been revealed, and you won't want to miss them...

The first trailer for Godzilla vs. Kong finally debuted over the weekend, and excitement for the movie is definitely beginning to build. Unfortunately, there's been another release date change, though this isn't too significant a delay! After originally being pencilled in for a May 21st release, Warner Bros. brought the crossover event forward to March 26th.

Now, it's been confirmed that it drops on HBO Max (and in theaters) on March 31st.

Why the change? There's no official word on that front, but speculation online is running rampant that WarnerMedia might have decided to pencil in Zack Snyder's Justice League for the 26th. That would make sense, and give new subscribers two blockbusters to check out in the space of a couple of weeks (a good way to convince them it's worth sticking around).

In other release date news, Warner Bros. has put James Wan's horror movie Malignant back on the calendar; that's now set to head our way on September 10th.

Going back to Godzilla vs. Kong, and some Funko Pop figures for the highly anticipated action blockbuster have been revealed. As you can see below, the spotlight is put squarely on the two main Titans, and these will look great displayed side-by-side on the shelf of any collector.

Funny, 'Jaw-Dropping' and 'Funko Pop' are never two things I'd use in the same sentence

@GothamSon - not only that but I'm not sure I'd say these were funko pops unless someone told me. They seem more like knockoffs.

This probably has to do with The Snyder Cut. It was rumored both movies would release on HBO MAX in the same weekend. The Snyer fanbase wnet full psycho and now want to boycott from watching GvK (which will probably get more views just because its 2 hours shorter). As much as I want to watch ZSJL, I hate it when people start doing this. I would have seen both anyway.

I still believe Godzilla 2014 is the best film in the new monster verse and even though we’re finally gonna see kong and zilla face off I still doubt it’ll compare to the feeling I got after I first saw this in the cinema, even if it did cut away

If small delay is because of Justice League then I understand. There’s no need to premiere two big movies at the same time stealing from one another’s thunder.

The original fight between Kong and Godzilla is so f**king funny. Especially when Kong just whacks his head on a rock lol

Read somewhere Kong wins because currently Godzilla is the King of Monsters. So when Kong whens, he'll then be King Kong.
