The summer movie season doesn't typically start until the first weekend in May, but with the arrival of at least five, maybe six, big-budget blockbusters just this month, it sure feels like the season may already be well underway.

With Logan opening this past weekend to widespread critical acclaim and box office glory, our focus now shifts over to a whole different kind of beast - Kong: Skull Island.

The reviews for Jordan Vogt-Roberts' latest film have been exceedingly positive, a tick above what we saw when its sister film Godzilla was released back in 2014, which should mean fans can expect a real treat when they walk into theaters next weekend. To take advantage of the good buzz, Legendary has released four action-packed new TV spots with plenty of cool new shots. Check them out below:

Kong: Skull Island reimagines the origin of the mythic Kong in a compelling, original adventure from director Jordan Vogt-Roberts. In the film, a diverse team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacific—as beautiful as it is treacherous—unaware that they’re crossing into the domain of the mythic Kong.

Kong: Skull Island features:
Director: Jordan Vogt-Roberts
Tom Hiddleston as Captain James Conrad
Samuel L. Jackson as Lt. Col Packard
Brie Larson as Mason Weaver
John Goodman as William "Bill" Randa
John C. Reilly as Hank Marlow
Jason Mitchell as Glenn Mills
Corey Hawkins as Houston Brooks
Toby Kebbell as Jack Chapman
Terry Notary as King Kong (mo-cap)
Thomas Mann as Slivko
Shea Whigham as Cole
John Ortiz as Victor Nieves
Shawn Kavanaugh as Josh
Marc Evan Jackson as Woodward
Jing Tian as San
Eugene Cordero as Reles
Will Brittain as Young Marlow/Marlow's Son

Kong: Skull Island stomps into theaters on March 10

I might watch this if one of my buddies is planning on seeing this. I would go, but I'm busy with other important typical life things.
