I liked this film, not every film has to be for us 20 somethings or what ever age you lot are,but if you was a young kid you would see this film for what it is,if you want the blood thirsty original then go watch the original and stop moaning about this one, I personaly like this one because its what we see our future like, the future is not robocop the original, hell the little robot guy in china moves faster that the original

So Robocop has a metal arm...and his human hand remounted to the front of it? or human arm with a metal cover? hmmm i think i would have just went ahead and chopped that arm off and redesigned that Sh!t since a broken hand while fighting robots would most likely...suck.

I don't give a shit whether this any good or not, I'm dragging my girlfriend to see it just to balance out the fact that the last three things we went to see were HER idea, and I hated 'em all.

Tit for tat, babe. You've tortured me enough.

Robocop 2 sucks, that shows a lot about you. That you can't set aside the fact that this is pg13 is pretty ridiculous. This movie is the second best Robocop, by far. 12 year old gang lord and "nuke"? You sir are ridiculous.

Went into the theater expecting to hate it but was pleasantly surprise. Definitely worth seeing on the big screen. Thought provoking political messages too.

This movie was good. It's different from the original. It nods to the original but otherwise it is its own thing. The original would have suffered without the ultra-violence, this one didn't need it. I'm a huge fan of the original one and didn't think I'd like this, was dead against the remake. I gave it a chance and have now watched it twice. It's good fun, judge it on its own merits. The cast play their parts well. Murphy is excellent. Definitely one of the better remakes.

liked that movie alot. Btw he doesnt have the machine voice like in trailer 2! and the "dead or alive you`re coming with me" scene is different in the movie.

Forget the critics and old geezer Rotten Tomatoes...lol I'm seeing this film, I was wayyyy too young when the original RoboCop was released to remember it so it's cool with me.

You can dislike this film, but If your actively telling people not watch this film, which at worst is a decent film, then it's OBVIOUS you're ignorant and HAVE NOT actually seen the film , and are just bashing because you don't want your nostalgic love for the original to somehow be diluted.

@Gdub514: his human hand is all that's left of his body, besides his head, lungs and vocal cords. They left it there so that he could shake hands, because his primary weapon hand is his left hand. It's not attached to an arm or anything, it's just a hand which is supported by an internal metal frame.
It's PG-13, but so was THE DARK KNIGHT.

to those who comments back there that they like the sequels of the first one and talking about discovery channel, they're ridiculous and ignorants. This Robocop makes a lot of sense.

@Gdub510: I think they left the human hand (insted of removing it like in the original movie) because it plays a big part in the end of the movie, atleast that's how i got it.

And i like the different take they had, kind of the other side of the coin compared to the older one.

I really loved it.
