ROBOCOP Set Photos Feature Joel Kinnaman, Abbie Cornish And Futuristic Police Vehicles

Well, Sony have decided to cover up the new RoboCop's suit in these latest set photos, but we do still get a good look at Joel Kinnaman, not to mention Abbite Cornish and more of the futuristic police cars and motorcycles which will be used in the film.

Thanks to Just Jared, we have a few more photos from the set of José Padilha's remake of RoboCop featuring Joel Kinnaman as Alex Murphy and Abiie Cornish as his wife, Ellen. As you can see, the studio are now being far more careful by covering up Kinnaman as the titular character, although some would argue that it's now too late as many fans have already decided they won't like the film based on literally two set photos of the unfinished suit! In RoboCop, the year is 2029 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex’s life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before.
