A Pretty Significant Change Has Been Made To Kylo Ren's Appearance In STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI
In the first trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, some fans noticed a pretty major change to Kylo Ren's appearance. Director Rian Johnson has now weighed in on why he made that alteration...
The first trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released last Saturday and many of you noticed that Kylo Ren's scar (which he got during Star Wars: The Force Awakens' lightsaber duel with Rey) had moved. It originally ran across his cheek, up his nose and onto his forehead and appeared to be a pretty significant mark on his face which would have left the villain potentially deformed in a big way.
The scar now runs across Ren's eye and doesn't seem to be all that bad. His cheek could be a little more torn up, of course, but Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson has offered an explanation:
What do you think of this change to Kylo Ren's look? With any luck, we'll get a much more detailed look at the villain in the next few months, but given how secretive Disney and Lucasfilm appear to be with this sequel so far, we may have a while to wait before learning more about The Last Jedi.
