Classically trained actor Sir Derek Jacobi has said that he wants to be in the new Star Wars movies. Jacobi says that he’s desperate for a part in Episode VII. Some films that Jacobi has starred in were The King's Speech, I, Claudius, Gladiator and many others. In an interview with Radio 4 (which The Daily Mail reported), Jacobi said he immediately phoned his agent when he heard news of the forthcoming sequels.

"I’d love to do my big franchise movie,” Jacobi said. “Ian [McKellen]’s got his Gandalf, Pat Stewart has his Star Trek, Michael Gambon has got his Dumbledore. They are running out of these old men you see. I have to be next!”

Would you like to see Jacobi in a Star Wars film? Comment below. Peace.
