SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY Action Figures Reveal New Characters And A Closer Look At The Millennium Falcon

If you're a fan of Star Wars merchandise (and let's face it, there's a lot of it) then you've got to be excited about the upcoming release of Solo: A Star Wars Story. There's going to be action figures, LEGO, Funko Pops, books, and more but we now have a first look at the toys which fit into that first category. These show off almost all the leads and even tease the Millennium Falcon's many new capabilities.

We also get the best shot yet of the movie's Range Troopers, a very interesting group which seem to be a cross between a number of other designs. They look way more formidable than the LEGO suggested!

To check out the full list of action figures and the Millennium Falcon toy, all you need to do is click on either one of the buttons below. Do these get you any more excited about what's to come in Solo: A Star Wars Story? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

Hasbro's "Black Series" of action figures are aimed at adults and tend to have a price tag reflecting that. This Han Solo is very cool, though, and comes with a blaster sure to be familiar to fans.

That's one hell of a scarf! Lando Calrissian looks like a total badass here and it's fair to say that Donald Glover was the perfect choice to take on the role of the fan-favourite Empire Strikes Back character.

Qi'Ra is presumably going to be Han's ally in Solo but she looked a lot like an Imperial and it's hard not to wonder where she vanished to after the events of this movie. Cool outfit, though!

This is an Imperial Range Trooper who will seemingly be a big part of the movie. We've so far seen them in LEGO sets and in the trailer, so they'll presumably be the main Stormtroopers here.

Do the panels exploding off the Millennium Falcon reveal why it looks so different in the original trilogy? The movie is going to provide some sort of answer but this toy may provide some clues.

This is the Force Link 2.0, a device which generates sounds based on the individual character or vehicle brought near it. This version is accompanied by the Han Solo action figure you can see below.

These action figures are a little more basic than the ones at the start of this post but are still really cool and will no doubt be extremely popular with younger fans of the Star Wars franchise in May.

Before you get too excited about the last three action figures on display here, they're just being released to coincide with the Force Link 2.0. So, no, we're not getting unexpected cameos in Solo!

The detail on those figures is quite nice. Poor Chewie though, looks like he’s cross-eyed. And the Range Trooper boots look really awkward to walk in especially in snow. I guess that’s why they introduced Snow Troopers?!

@ChangAlang - the legs/boots looks like they have a function. We know there is a train sequence. My guess is perhaps they a magnetic and allow them to hang outside the train.

@StormXmen123 - Good point!

They just look so hefty though. Walking like you’re pulling your feet out of mud.

So do we know what year this movie takes place? Han was 33 in A New Hope (according to a Google search). Luke was 21. So Han would have been 12 during the events of Revenge of the Sith. I’m guessing he’s only supposed to be 20-ish in this new movie, so, I guess it takes place around ten years after Revenge of the Sith and ten years before A New Hope? Things certainly got pretty dingey/grungey in ten years.

I am conflicted about this movie. I mean after those two sucky movies TFA and TLJ, I personally do want to see this. Than again I loved Rogue One, so that is giving me hope for this movie.

Also I must say I am intrigued about seeing some back story for Lando.

@JoeMomma29 - I’d like to see this one because of how different it should be to Ep:7&8 regardless that he has a smugglers background.

I really enjoyed Rogue One and I’d love for Chewie to have a “holy crap” type scene like Vader but not nessacarily as brutal.

Not digging the new Han, but I think Glover as Lando will be awesome. I loved Billy as Lando, but I really think Glover can do for Lando what Ford did for Han.. some next level stuff about to happen. Predicting Lando spin-offs...

I am a massive Star Wars fan and have loved the franchise since being 4 years old - pretty much as long as I can remember. The more Star Wars the better in my opinion although there is a chance it will become stale. I love it so much that I have even started my own personal documentary that may appeal to fellow fans. You can watch it at:

Moderator - sorry to use this as a platform, I am not after earnings from YouTube- its not like I will make millions :) I just want fellow Star Wars fans to see my short film and see if they appreciate it before I waste time doing part two! I hope you understand!

There is also a funny video of my wife falling over - which she hates and I find hilarious!

Many Thanks & Kind Regards

Wobbly Bob

Enjoy watching if you do and thank you!
